• We obtained certification in one of the largest employment class actions, Savaglio v. Wal-Mart Stores and, represented approximately 171,000 individuals against Wal-Mart for wage and hour violations. The case went trial and resulted in a $172 million verdict for the plaintiffs.
• In an elder abuse case, an insurance agent sold a $4,000 crypt to our elderly client with insurance and interest that brought the total cost to over $25,000. We succeeded in winning our client's total purchase price back for her.
• In a sexual harassment claim, a client obtained a $300,000.00 settlement.
• We defended a Navy veteran that had been wrongfully sued by a general contractor for $21,000. We were able to get the case dismissed and countersued for our client resulting in an award of $49,844.
• In a construction defect case, the firm won a judgment against a contractor for building a defective rock wall prior to trial and received sanctions against a well known defense firm.
• We successfully represented a woman that was terminated because she had a disability. After we discovered the defendant had destroyed evidence, and presented the evidence to the judge, the case settled. See her letter of thanks.
